AmbiSpace Ltd supplied and installed an LED interactive light tube, 360 moving head spot light and rotating dome light in to the sensory dark room at Willow Dene Special School in London. These interactive sensory lights are controlled by Android tablet apps and provide controllable stimulation to support visual impairment and SEN.
In additon a colour changing LED infinity tunnel and UV enhanced twinkle effect fibre optic tails were built in to a padded wall unit for sensory calming and tactile interaction. Two powerful UV flood lights help to make UV treated objects stand out in the sensory dark room to make it easier for children with visual impairments to engage in activities within the room.
An 1800mm x 1200mm dynamic LED light panel mounted in the ceiling is a stunningly effective addition that allows the room to be washed in a variety of solid colours as well as playing a collection of engaging moving light scenes.
